CAT have been involved in many projects that have required either a bespoke product or CATs' in depth market knowledge to overcome issues and below are just a few of our recent projects that have successfully been completed.

The Oval Cricket Ground
Approached by a London contractor to supply samples of a solid brass nosing for The Oval Cricket Ground, CAT impressed the architect and designers with their quality and uniqueness that they insisted on specifying the BN90 immediately. Having measured The Oval Cricket Ground's staircase, CAT pre cut and drilled the nosing before supplying to the contractor to install.

BBC Mailbox Project - Birmingham
Already specified by the architects GMW, miles of CAT's Tag Trim profile was successfully curved at the new BBC Radio Centre, Birmingham. As well as providing the formable trim CAT were also asked to help create new tactile strips for the staircase areas, specifying that they needed to be brushed stainless steel. CAT ensured the architect's drawings became reality using all their knowledge, skill and manufacturing technology to successfully produce the tactile strips.

HMS Gannett
Based at the Royal Historic Dockyard at Chatham, CAT successfully supplied their Brass BN2 Nosing so that the Victorian sail steamer could be shown off to the general public. HMS Gannett now sits with brass nosings in keeping with the boat's history.

Royal National Geographical Society
Recently specified and installed at the Royal National Geographical Society are CAT BN5 nosings with PVC insert. Supplied to make a feature of their staircase the nosings form part of the overall design of the interior.

BBC Centre, Woodlane
Requiring a modern look to one of their theatres, the BBC's architects specified CAT's SC55 stainless steel cover plates. Successfully installed by a leading flooring contractor the SC55 helps create the overall image that both the architect and client wanted whilst providing a tough high quality practical trim.

ST. Bartholomew Hospital, London
Within the Breast Cancer Clinic of this well known hospital they have specified and installed CAT Feline products, in the nisheen special finish. Specified to compliment the overall interior finish within the clinic, nisheen is one of CATs' many special finishes with which to choose from.

Marks and Spencer Lifestores
When a new image was required for the new Marks and Spencer "out of town" outlet was required CAT's range of stainless steel profiles meant that they achieved a thoroughly modern look. Successfully working with the architect and flooring contractor meant that the project was able to run smoothly.

Jessops
Identifying a problem that Jessops had with regard to their current profile, CAT proposed a solution using their new CatWalk profile allowing the shop fitter to meet the deadlines that were upon him, yet allowing flexibility from the client if they needed to alter any layouts. Jessops and their shop fitter are now successfully installing CatWalk.

Holmes Place
Approached by a leading wood manufacturer to solve a problem that required expansion, yet needed to look very modern CAT stainless steel trims were successfully installed at one of London's top gyms. Adding to a modern interior look the CAT range of profiles allow designers to compliment the rest of their interior design.

Ernest Jones
Needing a look that required a quality finish meant that when Ernest Jones needed a profile to finish their carpet that only CAT's mirror polish finish was suitable. Complimenting the interior style of the Jewellers meant that the designers could continue the bright look throughout all the fixtures and fittings.

House of Fraser
A very successful project that was managed by Pel Project Management and installed by Nicholl Ramsey, this huge project required the development of a new profile with a special finish, yet CAT had to meet with very strict timescales to meet with the new designs required by House of Fraser.

Royal Philamonic Orchestra
When new nosings were required at Cadogen Hall, for the Royal Philamonic Orchestra, they needed to be within keeping of the traditional style of the building. The CAT BN52 nosing was selected in an Antique Brass finish so that the natural age of the premises could be preserved.
